Lansing Chamber of Commerce's Focus magazine featured Astraeus partner Dowding Industries.

For the better part of 44 years, Dowding Industries has enjoyed a solid business as a manufacturer of progressive die stampings, metal fabrications and welded assemblies.
Founded in 1965 by Skip Dowding, the company has remained in the community of Eaton Rapids and within the Dowding Family.
Dowding’s ability to develop a strong customer base of companies including Caterpillar, Cummins Engine and Kawasaki Rail Car has helped Dowding grow steadily through the years, at one time employing 250 people. Around the turn of the century, Dowding officials realized
they needed to diversify their business and lessen its dependence on the automotive industry.
The question became – diversify into what arena? As 1960’s recording artist Bob Dylan once wrote; “The answer my friend is blowin’ in the wind."
